Cara Mencari Umbi Porang (Amorphophallus oncophillus)

CIRI-CIRI :
1. Tempat tumbuh : 0-900 m DPL, di tempat yang tertutup oleh pohon-pohon besar/rindang, di sepanjang kiri-kanan sungai, di aliran-aliran air hujan, di kebun-kebun bambu, di hutan, dll.

2. Pohon Porang berwarna hijau belang-belang putih
















3. Ada Bubil/katak pada tangkai/ketiak daun.
















4. Umbi bulat
















5. Warna umbi kuning halus
















6. Pada pohon yang sedang berbuah seperti bunga bangkai/semprong lampu.






















CARA MENCARI :
1. Pada lantai tanah, dicari bubil/katak nya (kumpulkan bubil/kataknya)


















2. Pada lahan yang ada bubil/katak nya di cari lubang (bulat) sebesar pohonya atau pada tanah menggunduk (ngagunduk), di dalam tanahnya ada umbi porangnya.

3. Pada lahan yang di tanahnya ada bubil/katak dicangkul, dikoreh, dikoret, atau dengan garpu (kedalaman umbi lebih kurang 5 cm dari permukaan tanah).

4. Pada pohon yang sedang berbunga/berbuah seperti bunga bangkai/semprong lampu juga porang asal umbinya kuning

Porang Usability

Porang production in Sukabumi Indonesia

Plant porang (Amorphophallus oncophillus) is a tropical plant that includes Familly iles-iles, also a Familly flowers of the famous carrion flower. These plants have a tumber that content with high glucomanan.

Porang plants are herbaceous plants, and chronic. Stems erect, soft, smooth stems green and white pinto. Single rod broke into 3 secondary stems and
